Coach Usman Abdalla sure of picking a point in Oriental derby in Enugu.

Date:

The People’s Elephant Enyimba football club of Aba  will take the short trip to Enugu,  after a goalless draw against Lobi Starsin their previous match that  made them slipped into third position  in Group A of the NPFL .

Enyimba coach Usman Abdalla has come out to say his team will come out with an outstanding result in today’s ‘Oriental Derby’ against Enugu Rangers even though they did not win in their last two games of the new NPFL season.
He said,  We are hoping for a positive result, the boys are motivated and they know that this match is very important for us.
We need to get a good result here which they’ve understood that, that’s why they are working hard to achieve our target .
We are coming out to work hard and leave the pitch with something in our hands. We can’t afford to leave Enugu empty handed.
The two teams are the most successful in the league, having won seven titles apiece.
Although Abdalla said he is aware of the bragging rights involved in this derby, his focus is more .on the points at stake.
The most important thing is to get a good result that will make us comfortable on the table.
I’m taking into consideration the importance of this match to the clubs, to the supporters and the region. We are aware of that, but the most important thing is to win.
The fixture at the Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium has been scheduled to commence at 4pm.
