Several clubs have failed in their attempts to sign former Enyimba International Midfielder, Kingsley Sokari with the player informing footballlive that his club have made it clear to him and his management team that only a significant offer would make them part with his services.
Tunisian Club, CS Sfaxien are billed to participate in four competitions for the 2018/2019 season as the would be involved in the Arab Champions League, CAF Confederation Cup, Tunisian Cup and League matches.
Speaking to www.footballlive.ng why he was yet to secure a dream Europe move, Sokari said, “We are involved in several competitions which means there are many games to be played, so the club informed us that only a significant offer from an interested buyer would make them consider selling me as I am a key part of the team.”
On his hopes to still play for the Super Eagles, he said, “Everything has time. I think the focus of the Coach are on player playing in Europe’s top flight leagues and those playing in Africa except for the goalkeepers are not being considered any longer. I however believe that soon I will be back in the team and players in top African leagues will be considered.”
The Midfielder who had featured in the Nigeria U-20 and U-23 setup earlier concluded by saying he would patiently wait for his chance with the Super Eagles even as he hopes it would happen sooner rather than later.
CS Sfaxien would be hoping for better when they face Tataouine on September 1st in the 2nd matchday of the Tunisian League following an opening day draw at home to Bizert
