Cyriel Dessers netted a crucial late equaliser as Rangers began their UEFA Champions League qualifying campaign with a 1-1 draw against Dynamo Kiev in Lublin.
Dynamo’s captain, Andriy Yarmolenko, opened the scoring in the 38th minute after receiving a setup from Vladyslav Vanat inside the box, calmly slotting the ball past Rangers’ goalkeeper Jack Butland.
Rangers fought back and deep into added time, Cyriel Dessers connected with a delivery from Vaclav Cerny to finish low and secure a draw for the visitors.
Leon Balogun also played the full 90 minutes for Rangers.
The return leg is scheduled for next Tuesday at Ibrox.
