Former Molde of Sweden attacker, Daniel Chukwu Chima is happy with his move to Heilongjiang Lava Spring of China, as he sees it as a fresh challenge for his career.
Although his new club are in the lower cadre Chinese League One, footballlive.ng can report that Chima is excited with the deal, as he wants to make his impact felt in another continent outside Europe.
Following his arrival on a season-long loan deal, the 27-year-old Chima made himself available for a quick debut in a friendly on Monday.
While noting that his new club finished seventh last season, the Bussdor United of Port Harcourt product, who has played for Lyn Oslo of Norway, Shanghai Shenxin of China and Legia Warsaw of Poland said he keen on helping Heilongjiang do better this time out.
Chima said he was happy to join his new teammates and is looking ahead to the season kick-off on March 9, adding: “Can’t wait to get started.”
