Danish First Division club, Fremad Amager FC has secured rear line reenforcement in the form of Remo Stars FC Defender, Sodiq Anthony Rasheed.
The 18 years old player was signed on a one-year loan from the Nigerian club, Remo Stars Football Club
Sodiq speaking to a foreign source in Denmark said, “This is very special for me as my Dream is fast becoming a reality.”
The defender who had been on trial with the club for over three weeks now said it was a great pleasure to finally get signed as he was not sure if he would have to return to Nigeria and wait for the next transfer window so he was extremely delighted that thing turned out the way it did.
Speaking to the club’s website about the difference between Nigeria and Denmark, he said, “In Denmark the big difference is the tactical level, which is very high but I will have no problem adapting especially with the language because in Nigeria we speak three different languages and English comes quickly to our table.”
Rasheed who has been give the number 12 jersey concluded by stating he was enormously grateful for the opportunity to play in the top flight of Danish football and he was already looking forward to his debut with his new team.
