Club Brugge’s Nigerian-born duo of Arnaut Danjuma and Bonaventure Dennis are set to feature in the UEFA Champions League with the club on Wednesday against Borussia Dortmund of Germany.
It has been learnt by footballlive.ng that Danjuma and Bonaventure are both in line to star against the former champions on the second night of this season’s UCL campaign, after they were named to the host team’s squad.
This is despite the fact that recuperating Bonaventure missed the club’s last Belgian League game against Lokeren, as he had not fully recovered from a muscle injury.
On the other hand, it is another opportunity for Lagos-born Danjuma to continue his amazing burst of form, since his arrival from NEC Nijmegen of Holland this summer.
The report comes at a point Danjuma appears to have taken a rethink on his initial declaration that he would prefer to play for Holland at senior international level.
The in-form attacker, who has been capped at under-21 level by Holland, hinted early Tuesday that he is ready to don Nigeria’s green-and-white after all.
