Club Brugge of Belgium duo, Arnaut Danjuma and Dennis Bonaventure are bound to welcome another lad into the team in January, as cadet international, Samson Tijani is on his way to the side.
Footballlive.ng gathered that Danjuma and Bonaventure could become mentors of Tijani, who is the current under-17 national team, Golden Eaglets’ captain.
The Eaglets are billed to return to the continental terrain at the Africa U-17 Cup of nations in January, from which they will also aim for a comeback into the FIFA U-17 World Cup, but Tijani could become a professional at Brugge before then.
This is sequel to report that Club Brugge have already agreed to a deal in principle to sign Tijani, who was part of the Eaglets’ side that won the WAFU B Africa U17 Cup of Nations zonal qualifiers in Niger Republic after beating Ghana 1-0 and was named most valuable player of the contest.
However, Tijani is expected to lead Nigeria to the 2019 AFCON U-17 in Tanzania before fully joining Club Brugge when he turns 18 a year after the FIFA U17 World Cup.
