Danjuma Seals His Future With Holland’s Senior Team

Club Brugge of Belgium attacker, Arnaut Danjuma sealed his allegiance to Holland for the rest of his career in startling fashion at the weekend, as he starred for the Netherlands in his full official debut for his adopted country.

Danjuma is now is now cap-tied to the Netherlands after making his competitive debut for Le Oranje in their 3-0 rout of Germany in a UEFA Nations League match on Saturday.

Born in Lagos to a Dutch father and Nigerian mother, Danjuma earned six caps for Netherlands U21 team, scoring 2 goals, before his senior debut on Saturday.

In Saturday’s match, Danjuma played in number 22 jersey at Johan Cruijff Arena in Amsterdam, Holland.

Danjuma went on after 67 minutes, as he entered the game as replacement for Steven Bergwijn and he can no longer play for Nigeria in the future.
