Debutant Peter Olayinka has expressed delight at scoring his first goal for SK Sparta Praha.
The highly rated forward scored the last goal for the Praha outfit in the 90th minute as they defeated Opava 3-1 in a Czech Republic First Division match on Friday.
Peter Olayinka said to Footballlive.ng after the game : “I am very happy to score my first goal for Sparta Praha. I am hoping to be top scorer this season; I am doing my possible best to be there.”
“The coach (Jindich Trpiovsky) loves young players, and it is the opportunity he gave me that I used. I am going to prove myself here and I know I am equal to the task. I am ready to score goals this season,” he concluded.
This is the first time the 22-year-old will play for Sparta Praha this season, following his arrival in from KAA Gent in the summer transfer window.
He bagged 9 goals in 25 matches while playing on loan for Zulte Waregem last season.
