Rangers celebrated passage into the third round of the Scottish cup, with Cyriel Dessers coming off the bench to score and assist. Rangers nicked a 2-0 victory over St Johnstone in the second round of the Scottish cup at their home ground.
The first half was a cagey affair with both teams failing to find the back of the net in the first 45.
In the second half, Dessers was summoned off the bench and he immediately impacted. The striker scored in the 58th minute, converting an assist from Rabbi Matondo.
The striker became the creator in the dying embers of the game, as he assisted Ross MacCausland in the second minute of stoppages.
Dessers now has 3 goals and 1 assist for the Scottish side in 5 appearances, and will be looking to improve his figures in his next game, when Rangers take on Ross County.
