Djoliba SC Of Mali Captain, Emilie Kone Determined To Defeat Enyimba International At All Cost In Bamako

Sunday’s clash between two West African giant in the penultimate game of the CAF Confederation Cup group stage match in Bamako is building up to become the match of the weekend as both set of players have declared it a must win encounter for their respective teams.

Captain of Djoliba SC while speaking to www.footballlive.ng on Saturday afternoon was clear in terms of what he and his teammates were aiming to achieve against Enyimba on Sunday as he say only a win would do.

He told footballlive.ng *, “Enyimba International beat us in Nigeria, it’s simple we are also going to beat them here and we are looking to beat early in the match before they get the chance to settle.”

On the mindset of team going into the crunch tie on Sunday, the commanding defender spotting the number 4 jersey said, “Everyone knows we have an obligation to win tomorrow else we are out of the competition. So tomorrow’s game is crucial and we have to win tomorrow, whatever the cost.”

The captain who is leading his out for the fourth time against an opposition from the NPFL concluded by saying an opportunity to play in Nigeria Professional Football League at the end of the season in Mali was something he would definitely consider despite several offers from other countries.
