The March 26 international friendly between Nigeria and Egypt is bound to be very explosive, if the words of Super Eagles’ coach, Gernot Rohr are anything to go by.
Footballlive.ng can report that Rohr has set up expectations for a feisty encounter at Stephen Keshi Stadium, Asaba, as the Franco-German gaffer says he will take the match very seriously.
Although Riohr hinted that he will use the game to try out some new players in his squad, the gaffer stressed that it will be a big test for the entire team.
Rohr explained that it has to be a key match for him and his players because it would mark the commencement of their preparation and build-up programme for the Africa Cup of Nations.
Rorh said: “I and my assistants are not taking the friendly match against Egypt lightly.
“In fact we are planning to win the friendly match in preparations for the Africa Cup of Nations this year.”
