The Super Eagles of Nigeria will be targeting a win as they continue their 2019 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON), Group E qualification campaign against Seychelles on Saturday.
The West Africans will be out to dispatch the Pirates as they hope to reach the Cup of Nations in Cameroon.
Nigeria lost 2-0 in their opening group match to South Africa, while Seychelles were pummeled 5-1 by Libya.
Although he is confident, he said they must be cautious of their group opponents.
“We have to qualify to the African Cup of Nations. That means winning on Saturday is the only option,” Ahmed Musa told Footballlive.ng.
“Facing the Pirates will not be an easy task considering the fact that they will be playing at home, but they will also be motivated to reach the AFCON. We must be wary of their threats and attack them at the appropriate time.”
The match is slated for Saturday, 8 September at the Stade Linite at 1:30pm Nigerian Time.
