Super Eagles stars defender Shehu Abdullahi and Ahmed Musa will kick start their Education for kids in Sokoto state campaign with visits to different schools in the state this week where several gift items will be given to aid their education process and also keep them in school through the Shehu Foundation.
The visit to schools statred on Thursday December 20th an will continue on Friday with Shehu and Musa expected to join the train. Today’s excercise witnessed four schools being visited with six expected to be visited on Friday.
Footballlive.ng gathered that the Nigerian international through his foundation has a target of visiting a total of 10 schools in different local government areas with over 20,000 books and other stationary to be disbursed to the kids.
The Bursaspor defender tweeted. “Educational support for kid, Ahmed Musa and I will visit schools at different Local Government in Sokoto State this week to inspire school students with books, pen and other school materials as we support the future leaders of Sokoto State.”
Aside supporting kids in school, the former Kano Pillars right back on the 26th of December will sponsor the first edition of the Sokoto State Governor’s Cup with plans to engage the Youths through football across the local government areas.
