Super Eagles defender Semi Ajayi believes the team can get all three points against Libya in the return leg of the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier if the boys throw in the same intensity as they did in Uyo on Saturday.
The former Arsenal youth player was on the reserves when the Eagles beat Libya 4 – 0 at the Godswill Akpabio international stadium and believes the second leg in Tunisia will not be as easy as the first leg tie played at home.
Ajayi said. “We will need to face the game with the same attitude as we did on Saturday, it won’t be easy because definitely the Libyans will be looking to revenge the 4 nil loss so we need to be on the best of our game and implement the coach’s instructions and hopefully we can get a positive result.”
The match comes up today by 7pm at the Stade Taieb Mhiri, Sfax.
