ADO Den Haag of Holland right-back, Tyronne Ebuehi has admitted he is still recovering from the recent injury that knock him out of action with his club in the middle of last month, but says he is ready to gives his best in the Super Eagles’ camp.
Despite the continuation of his recovery process, Ebuehi dispelled fears about his fitness and insi9sts he will give his best after linking up with the Eagles’ camp in Uyo, ahead of the May 28 friendly against DR Congo.
The Dutch-born right-back is on the list of 30 players summoned to a pre-World Cup get-together, from which 23 players will be selected to defend the colours of Nigeria in Russia next month.
ADO Den Haag celebrated Ebuehi’s most important call-up to the Super Eagles to date but have noted that he was bothered by groin problems in the last weeks of the season.
Ebuehi made his full debut for the Nigerian national team in their 2-0 loss to Serbia at the Hive on March 27 and has figured in all of Nigeria’s friendlies over the past year, taking his appearances to four.
The 22-year-old defender, who appeared in 28 games in the Eredivisie this term but last played for ADO on April 14, said: ”I’m recovering good, so no problem”.
