Benfica of Portugal defender, Tyronne Ebuehi has declared that he aims to be fit enough to play for the Super Eagles in their last Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Seychelles on March 22.
With a January 29 set as his return date from injury, Ebuehi is already thinking big for the national team, and footballlive.ng can report that he is also thanking Eagles’ technical crew and top shots of Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) for checking up on him during his time out.
Though Ebuehi has not played for the Eagles since starring at the World Cup in Russia, he disclosed that the coach, Gernot Rohr, the NFF and his teammates continue giving him total support.
Consequently, the former ADO Den Haag of Holland right-back said he hopes to return for next year’s final AFCON qualifier against Seychelles.
Ebuehi took to social media to praise the players, coaches and officials with an emoji expressing his gratitude for ‘total support and care.’
