Forward Emem Eduok has mused on how he believes Kasimpasa are ‘close to excellence’ but that they have a few aspects of play still to improve upon.
Kasimpasa bounced back to winning ways in the Turkish Super Lig against Bursaspor on Sunday and zoomed to third on the standings.
“We want to play much better than we have been. But we also want to keep adding wins,” considered Eduok to Footballlive.ng following his team’s 2-1 win at Bursaspor.
“We believe there is a little to go to achieve excellence, to feel much more comfortable. There is a lot to be done in the next four weeks. We are five points behind leaders Basaksehir and want to try to catch up with them.
“We need to improve our possession of the ball. There are moments when we lose possession.
“We should also avoid counter-attacks and be more successful with our final ball.
“We can achieve excellence and hopefully very soon.”
Eduok was asked of his hopes of earning a recall to the Super Eagles team.
“If I remain consistent then hopefully I will return.
“It’s what I want and in order to get a call up I need to continue doing a good job at Kasimpasa. I’ll do everything I can to be called up.”
