Forward Emem Eduok says defeat to Alanyaspor was unjust in the Turkish Super Lig last weekend.
Kasimpasa fell at 2-1 home to their Super Lig counterparts at the Recep Tayyip Erdogan Stadi on Sunday.
Eduok provided an assist for the hosts in the game.
“The team has had good phases and bad phases. Alanyaspor didn’t have too much shots on target,” rued Eduok to Footballlive.ng afterwards.
“We had chances ourselves, but we did not take full advantage of them. We lacked a bit of spark.
“In the first half we were flat, then we did well towards the end of the game. We could have drawn or even won, but in the end we lost.”
It is now two defeats in succession for Kasimpasa in the Turkish top flight.
“It’s hard to explain, it is somewhat difficult. This is hard to explain.
“We must seize the moment, play well in our games. It is unjust, but the overall result is what it is.
“Alanyaspor closed their defence for long periods. It was not very practical. We pushed forward with extra attackers and were looking to score.
The former Esperance star looked to suggest that the result is more a symptom of the level playing field that the Super Lig represents.
“We could have had more points and taken a step forward. Everyone now remains within touching distance. This League will continue to remain equal.”
