Eduwo eyes starting role and goals for Al Najaf

Date:

Striker Kingsley Eduwo hopes to fight for a starting role and goals next season after joining Iraqi League club Al Najaf.

The 22-year-old made seven times appearances and netted 2 goals on his debut season last term for CS Xfaxien before being sent on loan to Najaf.
The former Shooting Stars player wants to earn more playing time and score goals next season.
“My target is to get regular starting place and score goals and that what I will look to work on,” Eduwo told Footballlive.ng.
“I have three more years on my contract at Sfaxien and I hope to do well and make a name on loan with Al Najaf. It’s fantastic and I’m here in Iraq to improve on my performance.”
Al Najaf will be hoping to improve on their 6th position last term.
