Hibernian’s Efe Ambrose and Sadiq Umar of Rangers played different roles on Thursday night to help their teams keep hopes of reaching the play-off round of the 2018 Europa League alive.
Ambrose was part of a three-man defence that locked out Norwegian side, Molde in the first-leg of their encounter.
The Super Eagle outcast continued his impressive revival under Boss Neil Lennon and has been rewarded this season with more game time under his belt.
Meanwhile, Sadiq Umar was handed a cameo by Rangers Boss Steven Gerrard in their 3-1 home win against Maribor.
Sadiq, who is on loan from AS Roma, was an 88th minute sub with the victory in the kitty already.
The second-legs of the Europa League fixtures comes up on 16 August.
