The Nigeria Football Federation’s Technical Director, Augustine Eguavoen, alongside newly appointed Super Eagles Head Coach, Éric Sékou Chelle, and his agent, Sidibe Abraham Brehima, have arrived at the Super Eagles B camp in Ikenne-Remo, Ogun State.
The trio made their journey aboard a ValueJet Airline CRJ 700 aircraft from Abuja to Lagos on Tuesday morning before heading to the Remo Stars Sports Institute.
This follows the announcement at Chelle’s unveiling on Monday that his role with the Super Eagles B team will be supervisory.
The team’s technical affairs will remain under the direction of Daniel Ogunmodede, Fidelis Ilechukwu, and Olatunji Baruwa, who led the squad to secure qualification for the 8th African Nations Championship (CHAN).
CHAN Final Draw in Nairobi
Meanwhile, the final tournament draw for the 8th CHAN will take place on Wednesday at the Kenyatta International Convention Centre in Nairobi, Kenya.
The event, scheduled for 6:00 PM Nigeria time, will feature the names of 19 countries, including joint-hosts Tanzania, Kenya, and Uganda, as well as Nigeria, Morocco, Senegal, and DR Congo, among others.
CAF’s Director of Competitions, Samson Adamu, will oversee the draw, assisted by former football stars Hassan Wasswa (Uganda), Mrisho Ngasa (Tanzania), and Kenyan legend McDonald Mariga.
Super Eagles Team Administrator Dayo Enebi Achor is already on the ground in Nairobi to represent Nigeria during the ceremony.

The CHAN tournament, exclusively for players plying their trade in domestic leagues, will feature intense competition among African nations as they vie for continental glory.
