Nigeria striker Blessing Eleke established his credentials and silenced his critics on Saturday night after scoring on his debut for Luzern.
The 22-year-old attacker scored his first goal in Swiss football as his club defeated Lugano 4-2.
He joined Luzern from Ashdod on a four-year contract this summer.
Eleke scored four goals in 27 league appearances for Ashdod last term.
The striker previously featured for Slovenian club, NK Olimpija where he bagged 25 goals in 80 games in his three seasons at the club.
Luzern coach Rene Weiler brought on Nigerian striker Eleke in the 65th minute and the substitute took 480 seconds to get his name on the score sheet.
The Luminaries currently occupy seventh position in the Swiss Premier League table with three points from three games.
