Emem Eduok Scores In Third Straight Match

Kasimpasa of Turkey striker, Emem Eduok hit target for the third straight match running this weekend, as he struck another beauty for his club in the Turkish Super Lig.

The former Akwa Unite of Uyo striker made hay for the third game in a row to help Kasimpasa thrash Akhisarspor 5-0, while taking his haul for the season to five goals from nine games.

In Denmark, Paul Onuachu hit three for FC Midtjylland in a 4-1 mauling of Nordsjaelland, with the FC Ebedei of Shagamu product on song in the 33rd, 53rd and 78th minutes, the last of which had an assist from fellow-Nigerian youngster, Rilwan Hassan.

In Finland, AC Kajaani’s Adeniyi Michael Ibiyomi notched a second half brace to help his team claim a 2-1 win over JJK, after he restored parity in the 50th minute before netting the winner 17 minutes later.

In Cyprus, Chigozie Udoji’s 19 minute goal for Enosis Paralimni was cancelled by Anorthosis’s Michal Duris in the 73rd minute for a 1-1 draw in the Cypriot First Division.

In Belarus, Kehinde Fatai hit a hat-trick for FC Minks in their derby against Dinamo, as they got a 3-3 draw at Stadion FK Minsk.

Fatai struck in the 5th, 45th and 67th minute, to reach a haul of four goals in four matches for the Belarus capital side, while Chico Ofoedu scored in the 7th and 33rd minute for Maccabi Tel Aviv in their 4-0 rout of Hapoel Hadera in the Israeli Premier League.

In England, Tammy Abraham made it four goals in seven matches after netting for Aston Villa in a 1-0 home victory against Swansea City, as he headed home the winner in the 8th minute of Dean Smith’s first game in charge.

Also in England, this time the third-tier, Freddie Ladapo got two for Plymouth Argyle, but his side lost 3-2 at home to Burton Albion, while Wycombe Wanderers recovered from a two-goal deficit to beat Ike Ugbo’s Scunthorpe United 3-2 at Adams Park, as Fred Onyedinma scored in the 53rd minute with an assist by Adebayo Akinfenwa.
