Former Super Eagles striker, Emmanuel Emenike is set to snub a lucrative offer in Qatar, as he prefers making a return to Turkey, and is already being tipped to rejoin Fernebahce in January.
Footballlive.ng gathered that the all-action star is planning on making a return to action after six months out with injury with Fenerbache set to also beat off Lig rivals, Konyaspor and Basakshir.
Emenike is reportedly set to retrace his footsteps to The Land of The Ottoman, after he cancelled his contract with Olympiakos of Greece in the summer and got surgery on a knee injury.
It was the same injury that stopped him from playing a single game at Las Palmas of Spain, during a spell on loan for the second half of the past season.
All that now appears in the distant past and Emenike is said to be on his way back to action in Turkey, and is not likely to accept an offer in Qatar.
A credible source has now disclosed that Emenike is heading back to the Turkish Super Lig, and affirming thus: “He’s going back to Europe.
“Turkey could be the next destination, although clubs from Qatar have shown interest, but I think Emenike still loves to be in Turkey.”
