Enyimba Annouces Yemi Olanrewaju as New Head Coach

Date:

Enyimba has announced the appointment of Yemi Olanrewaju as the new head coach for the remainder of the season.

This follows the departure of Finidi George, who left last month to become the head coach of the Super Eagles.

Olanrewaju, who served as an assistant to Finidi, has been promoted due to his commitment and leadership qualities.

“In light of Coach George’s departure, Enyimba FC is pleased to announce the promotion of Assistant Coach Olanrewaju Yemi Daniel to the position of Head Coach until the end of the season. Coach Daniel has been an integral part of the coaching staff, demonstrating his commitment, expertise, and leadership qualities throughout his tenure,” Enyimba announced on Thursday.

Yemi Olanrewaju is currently pursuing his UEFA B license in Scotland and is expected to bring valuable experience, having previously worked as an assistant coach with the defunct MFM FC and Nigeria’s U-17 team, the Golden Eaglets.
