Enyimba International Sets To Depart Nigeria For Mali On Friday

Date:

The People Elephant who are currently putting finishing touches to their preparations towards the upcoming CAF Confederation Cup clash against Djoliba on Sunday are set to depart Nigeria on Friday.

Currently sitting second on the NPFL Log, Enyimba International would be doing everything possible to pick at least a point in Mali in the group stage penultimate game so as to keep qualification into the next round in their hands when they face CARA Brazaville at home in the final game of the group stages.

Enyimba had earlier on in the season defeated Djoliba of Mali in the first leg by 2 goals to nil at the UJ Esuene stadium, Calabar and are now looking to get at least 4 points from the Malian.

Hope would be very high on Abia Warriors highest goal scorer, Sunday Adetunji who is set to make his debut for Enyimba this weekend and would be eager to impress his new employers and fans.

The players would be looking to reciprocate the gesture of the Abia State Governor, Okezie Ikpeazu who gave the boys five thousand dollars ($5000) at their first training session at the newly refurbished Aba Township stadium where he pledged his continued support of the team to see them do well in the 2018/2019 CAF Confederation Cup.
