Enyimba Players Resumes Training, Called off Strike

Enyimba Football Club has resumed back to training after calling off a three day strike action.

The Players of the People’s Elephant who protested for the Non payment of their match bonuses spanning over 20 matches and some outstanding debts are back to training after the club met there demands.

According to one of the player who did not want his name to be mentioned while speaking to www.footballlive.ng said they needed to demand for their entitlements.

”We need to press for our money because bulk of us are bread winners, now that we have been paid we will resume training today ahead of our important tie against Djoliba of Mali”

The player went on to expressed their desire to make the two time CAF Champions League Champions Proud.

“We will give it our all, we know the importance of the match so we are going for maximum victory against the malian side” he concluded.
Enyimba will play Djoliba in the CAF Confederation tie on the 19th of August.

The Abdallah tutured side are third on the log with 6points after playing 4 matches.
