Las Palmas of Spain midfielder, Oghenekaro Etebo has expressed his disappointment that his side could only draw 0-0 against Athletic Bilbao in Friday night’s Spanish LaLiga fixture.
Etebo, who is on loan from Portuguese top flight side Feirense, played his second straight game for Las Palmas in the draw against Bilbao, but is sad his side could not repeat the form they showed in his debut.
For his first game last Monday, La Palmas enacted a 1-0 home win against fellow-strugglers Malaga, who paraded Nigerian duo, Aide Brown Ideye and Isaac Success.
After dispatching his compatriots, who are on loan from Tianjin Teda of China and Watford of England respectively, Etebo was hoping for an encore last weekend, but says he was sad to end it with shared points.
Etebo stated: “Tough game last night against a good team. Disappointed not to take all three points but pleased with another clean sheet and point away from home. Our fans were brilliant once again.”
