Oghenekaro Etebo made his La Liga debut and was the most impressive player on both teams as Las Palmas beat Malaga 1-0 at on Monday night.
Etebo was named Man of the Match due to his impressive statistics, with the number six the top player in three popular categories.
Etebo had a game-high three shots, level with Malaga’s Adrián González, completed six dribbles, the most by the 28 players that took to the pitch and the second-best player Hernán Toledo managed only three dribbles.
The 22-year-old proved a handful for the Malaga players so much so that he was the most fouled player, having won seven fouls.
The central midfielder made 53 passes with a passing accuracy of 83 percent, made two tackles, two interceptions and one clearance on his debut for Las Palmas.

Malaga number twelve Brown Ideye, who also went the distance as Etebo, tallied three key passes, the best compared to the other players on the pitch.
