Stoke City of England midfielder, Oghenekaro Etebo has added his voice to the growing expectation of Nigeria’s qualification for the Africa Cup of Nations, and says achieving the feat would make the country proud.
Etebo said all players in the Eagles are determined to keep doing well in the remaining matches, not just against Libya, because footballlive.ng gathered that all of them are determined to make Nigerians proud.
Although the former Warri Wolves star admitted it will not be a stroll in the park to finally seal the ticket to Cameroon 2019, Etebo stressed that all the Eagles’ players are determined to put in their best to make the journey end in success.
Etebo, however, submitted that the players need to work much harder in training and matches, without allowing leisure during time off to affect them, in order to achieve their AFCON 2019 qualification goal.
He stressed: “For sure, not only me, the entire team. We have not gone for two Nations Cup, so it is very important that we need to qualify.”
