Stoke City of England midfielder, Oghenekaro Etebo has praised The Potters’ fans for the role they played in his side’s 1-0 victory against Swansea City, as he says the supporters were simply amazing during the game.
Although he admitted he was sad to get a yellow card in the game, the former Feirense of Portugal and Las Palmas of Spain dazzler said he was motivated for all 90 minutes of the encounter by the ‘unreal’ support of the home fans.
Footballllive.ng reports that Joe Allen’s 57th minute strike gave Stoke all three points against Swansea in the English Championship encounter at Bet365 Stadium, Staffordshire.
Etebo, who has made nine appearances in all competitions for Stoke this season, said he was happy with the win, but is seeking a better impact when The Potters host Blackburn Rovers in their next second-tier league fixture on Saturday.
“A hard fought win last night. The home support was amazing! The #Potters supporters are unreal!” tweeted Etebo, who received a yellow card in the 36th minute of the game.
