Following his loan move from Napoli to Galatasaray, Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen has expressed his enthusiasm and readiness to contribute to the Turkish champions.
Osimhen’s transfer was confirmed on Wednesday after a flurry of speculation linking him to various clubs all summer throughout the summer.
In his first address to Galatasaray fans, Osimhen shared his excitement via X handle;
“Super excited to be part of the Galatasaray family! I can’t wait to give my all and make the most of this new journey with such an amazing group and the fans.
Ready to create unforgettable memories together! Let’s go!”
The loan agreement with Napoli is set to run until June, with the possibility of a January exit if other clubs meet Napoli’s demands.
Osimhen is now en route to Nigeria to join the Super Eagles as they prepare for their Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.
The team will face off against the Cheetahs of Benin on September 7 in Uyo and will travel to Kigali three days later to take on Rwanda.
