Journalist  : Your name in full please?
Kenneth : _My name is Kenneth Josiah Omeruo_ .
Journalist : Kenneth as the saying goes charity begins at home, tell us, which club did you play for in the Nigerian League before leaving the shores of the country?
Kenneth_I played for Sunshine Stars Football Club of Akure_ .
Journalist. Which was your First professional clubside outside Nigeria?
Kenneth : Anderlecht Academy before i was snapped up by standard Liege of Belgium._
Journalist : Can you remember how you came into international limelight?
Kenneth : _(With a smile, replied) Yeah!  It was during the U-17 FIFA World Cup 2009 where we actually got to the final, I think that brought me into National limelight and opened the gates for world recognition and acceptance_
Journalist : Your top memories as it regards your career as a footballer?

Kenneth : _When I won the African Cup of Nations (AFCON) 2013.
Journalist: What were those things you thought were impossible in your career, that you have been able to achieve so far?
Kenneth : __The day I signed for Chelsea Football Club. It was like a dream come true, it was in January 2012 that I signed the dotted lines for Chelsea FC and since then I knew that there is nothing that is impossible with God if you believe_ .
Journalist :  What are the key points of your career as a professional footballer ?
Kenneth :  _( Exclamation) Wow!! It is indeed a great feeling to have participated in all three categories of the FIFA world cup for Nigeria

_I played at the FIFA U17 world cup in Nigeria 2009 when we got to the final, two years later, I played in the FIFA U20 World Cup in Colombia under the tutelage of coach John Obuh where we got to the quarter finals.

In 2014, I played in the Senior World Cup in Brazil where the Super Eagles got to the second round and  were defeated by France and I was also privileged to have gone to another World Cup last year in Russia 2018 but unfortunately we couldn’t  scale through the group hurdle

I am privileged to have attended the U-17 World Cup, U-20 World Cup and two senior World Cups. I am quite fulfilled as a footballer and i thank God for that_
Journalist :Kenneth as a defender, who are the dreaded strikers you have ever come against in the line of duty?
Kenneth : _Yeah, yeah!!!  Didier Drogba  2013 Nations Cup, where I and Godfrey Oboabona marshalled the defence line  for the Super Eagles in South Africa and we won that match two goals to one._

Also Lionel Messi is another striker I played against; playing against him you must be mentally alert,  I played against him at the 2018 World Cup and also in the Spanish Laliga. There is also Luis Suarez, another deadly forward also with Barcelona football club
Journalist: Kenneth Omeruo thanks for your time.
 Kenneth _:It is my pleasure_
