New arrival at Las Palmas of Spain, Imoh Ezekiel has explained the line of issues that led to his arrival at the club, saying it was basically because he could not settle down at his former base at Konyaspor of Turkey.
Though Las Palmas are currently battling against relegation in La Liga, Ezekiel vowed to give his best to help the club weather the storm and survive.
Ezekiel was unveiled to the Las Palmas fans on Saturday after signing a one-and-a-half-year deal with an option for a further year.
The former RSC Andelrecht and Standard Liege of Belgium attacker recounted his ordeal at Konyaspor, where he said he found it hard to adapt.
Ezekiel, though, is now determined to put all that behind him, and says he is looking forward to his debut for Las Palmas when they host Sevilla at Gran Canaria Stadium this Saturday.
“It was difficult for me to adapt to Turkish football, my family was not happy and that is why we decided to look for another club. Also I was owed for several months there which made it more difficult,” Ezekiel disclosed.
