Enyimba of Aba goalkeeper, Ikechukwu Ezenwa has disclosed that he is planning a special dance for the World Cup, as he wants to highlight each glorious outing at Russia 2018 with the Super Eagles in a very memorable manner.
Ezenwa also disclosed that he is planning on unfolding a special package for his fans, as he aims to thrill his well-wishers during the Mundial in Russia.
He said he is preparing very well for the global soccer showpiece and hinted that he will do things that will make his fans remember him, one of which he says is another special dance for the World Cup.
Ezenwa also gave a pass mark to ongoing preparations for the World Cup, as he says the Eagles’ technical crew, led by Gernot Rohr, is handling the build-up programme well.
With the Eagles set to play DR Congo at home on May 28, before travelling out to face England at Wembley Stadium, London on June 2, Ezenwa is thrilled with Nigeria’s schedule towards Russia 2018.
Ezenwa further stated that the international friendly match against England will help Nigeria to get in top shape for the 2018 FIFA World Cup coming up in Russia this summer.
The former Flying Eagles goalkeeper, who shot to limelight at Canada 2007 FIFA U-17 World Cup, expected to make Rohr’s squad to the World Cup in Russia, where Nigeria will battle Argentina, Iceland and Croatia in the group phase.
The Eagles will face the Three Lions at Wembley on June 2, before departing for the World Cup where they will play Croatia in their first game on June 16, which Ezenwa says he is already looking forward to.
The former FC IfeanyiUbah player also revealed that he is working hard and also remains focused for the Mundial.
“The World Cup is getting closer and every player is looking forward to it likewise the coaches. I am also preparing just like players from other countries and I am happy with the way the coaches are going about the preparations,” Ezenwa said.
