FA Cup: Oshilaja bows out with AFC Wimbledon

Nigerian born defender Adedeji Oshilaja lasted the full throttle as AFC Wimbledon were dumped out of the English FA Cup on Saturday.

 

 

Oshilaja who played from central defence captained his side in their 1-0 loss to Millwall at the Cherry Red Records Stadium.

The League One side bowed out to their London neighbours at Kingsmeadow courtesy of a fifth-minute header from Murray Wallace.

Wimbledon stunned West Ham with a 4-2 victory in round four, but another shock appeared unlikely once Wallace turned the ball in from six yards out after a fine run and cross from Ryan Leonard.

Oshilaja started his career at Cardiff City as a 16-year-old, progressing through the academy to sign his first professional contract in April 2012.
