Falcons Forward Stumbles in NWSL Loss

Asisat Oshoala and Bay Fc fell to a 3-0 loss at home against Washington Spirit, marking their 10th loss of the season. 29 year old Oshoala could only muster one attempt in her 72 minutes of action, with the shot blocked by an opposition defender.

 

Makenna Morris opened the scoring in the 4th minute, with Trinity Rodman converting from the penalty spot in the 21st minute of the game. Ouleymata Sarr wrapped up the game just before the hour mark, with Makenna Morris turning provider.

Bay FC currently sit 8th place in the NWSL with 6 wins and 10 losses after 16 games, with the team taking 3 wins from their last 5 games.

 

Oshoala has only mustered 3 goals and 1 assist from her 15 NWSL appeareances, highlighting a tough season thus far for the Nigerian forward.
