Falcons’ Technical Crew Gets Another Swedish Coach

Date:

Another Swedish soccer tactician has been added to the coaching crew of the Nigerian female national team, Super Falcons, ahead of their participation at this month’s Africa Women Cup of Nations in Ghana, footballlive.ng can report.

Heading into the team’s first match at AWCON 2018 against South Africa, Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) have confirmed that Jorgen Petterson will assist his compatriot, Thomas Dennerby, who has been the team’s technical adviser since last year.

Petterson was also confirmed to join the Falcons’ delegation for their flight to Abidjan, Cote d’Ivoire on Tuesday, as the team head out to the next stage of their pre-competition camping before battling South Africa on November 18 in Cape Coast, Ghana.

The new addition to the Falcons’ crew will now assist Dennerby along with ex-international, Maureen Mmadu and physical trainer, Justine Madugu, as the Nigerian squad target a ninth title in the competition.
