‘FAMILY TURMOIL’ Makes Gareth Bale call Off Wedding To Childhood SweetHeart

Date:

Real Madrid ace player Gareth Bale has called off his wedding amid family turmoil and a rift involving his fiancee’s dad.

THE Welshman, 29, and childhood sweetheart Emma Rhys-Jones had planned a star-studded Italian castle ceremony, where Beyonce was to sing at their wedding this summer, but the wedding has been postponed.

A family source said Emma, 26, hopes it will give her chance to heal a rift with her former jailbird dad Martin Rhys-Jones, 54.

According to reports, The couple also fear their big day could be tainted after Emma’s grandparents became unwittingly caught up in a violent drugs feud.

Bale’s fiancee who he first met in school, is said to be secretly delighted by the postponement because it will give her time to get in shape after having the couple’s third baby, Axel.

She and Wales star Bale also believe a violent drugs feud which has engulfed her family will die down if they delay the wedding.

But it may be highly unlikely since they also postponed the wedding April last year after a gang feud engulfed his fiancée’s family which led to an arson attack.

At some point last year, Bale had to be put under armed guard until it blew over.

Emma Rhys-Jones’ family have been part of a drugs feud after a suitcase containing £1M in cash and cocaine went missing.
