Chelsea youngster, Faustino Anjorin got one of the goals for The Blues’ junior team, as they beat Arsenal 4-0 in their FA Youth Cup final return fixture, which left The Gunners crumbling out on 7-1 aggregate.
Arsenal had Joseph Olowu, Bukayo Saka, James Olayinka and Xavier Amaechi in their line up at Emirates Stadium while Tobi Omole and Arthur Okonkwo were missing, as was Tariq Uwakwe for Chelsea, who started Anjorin and Folarin Balogun on their bench.
Of the lot, it was Anjorin who made top headlines, as he helped The Blues’ U-18 side to victory in the 2018 FA Youth Cup final on Monday, April 30.
Arsenal lost the first leg 3-1 at Stamford Bridge on Friday, April 27 and were hoping to turn the tie around in the second leg played at the Emirates Stadium.
Amaechi was in action for the Arsenal from the start but could not help his teammates as they succumbed to a heavy defeat.
Chelsea took the lead through Billy Gilmour in the 10th minute, while Callum Hudson-Odoi scored Chelsea’s second in the 55th minute to guarantee victory.
Anjorin sealed the result with Chelsea’s third of the game and the last of the encounter, to seal a victory that sees the team win the FA Youth Cup five times in a row.
