Enyimba’s technical adviser, Finidi George, has highlighted the importance of improving the team’s away performance in the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL). While acknowledging the team’s impressive home record, George emphasized the need to replicate that success on the road.
Enyimba have been dominant at their home ground this season, registering 12 wins, two draws, and only one defeat. However, their away form has not been as consistent, prompting George to focus on enhancing their performances when playing away from home.
“The team is good enough at home this season,” George told the club’s media. “Our focus must be to better our away performance in the league if we are to match our achievement from last season.”
Enyimba, the defending NPFL champions, are gearing up to face Lobi Stars in a matchday 29 fixture scheduled for Sunday at the Lafia City Stadium.
