Rivers United head coach, Finidi George, declares his commitment to making a positive impact at the club.
Finidi took over as head coach earlier this month after a brief stint with the Super Eagles.
The 53-year-old is tasked with improving the performance of the Port Harcourt-based club following a disappointing season in the Nigeria Premier Football League.
Finidi George shared his goals in a recent interview.
“I think it’s a new chapter for me, and I like the challenge. I want to help the club grow and become a dominant force in Nigerian and African football,” he said.
“I’m happy with the project the club is looking at, and I see a lot of potential for growth and success. The vision of the club aligns with my own ambitions, and I believe we can achieve great things together.”
Finidi’s first official game in charge will be an away fixture against Bendel Insurance next month.
