Finidi George To Chooses New Assistants, Snubs Old Teammates

Date:

Super Eagles newly appointed head coach, Finidi George, has decided not to work with Daniel Amokachi and Emmanuel Amuneke amidst their interest.

Finidi hasn’t finalized his coaching staff yet, but it seems he’s looking for people who aren’t connected to his playing days.

Amokachi and Amuneke were strong candidates for the assistant roles after losing the head coach race to Finidi George.

Finidi wants to bring in new people to help him with the Super Eagles and will snub his old teammates.

The Nigerian Football Federation earlier announced that Finidi has the freedom to choose his assistants. This means he can pick whoever he thinks will help him achieve success with the team.
