Finidi George Vows Enyimba’s Fight to Retain NPFL Title Despite Setback

Date:

Enyimba head coach Finidi George remains resolute in his team’s quest to defend the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) title despite suffering a setback with a 1-0 loss to Remo Stars.

The defeat saw the Aba giants drop to fifth place on the NPFL table, trailing leaders Lobi Stars by four points. Undeterred by the current standings, Finidi emphasized Enyimba’s determination to keep fighting until the last day of the season.

With aspirations to secure their record 10th NPFL title, Finidi affirmed that his team will not give up their ambition. Enyimba’s upcoming fixture against Kano Pillars presents an opportunity to bounce back and reignite their title defense campaign.
