Fit-again Nigeria striker Osaguona Ighodaro makes Umm Salal squad for tough battle with Al Arabi

Nigeria striker Osaguona Ighodaro has made a quicker-than-expected recovery from injury to make Umm Salal squad for today’s Qatar Stars League game against Al Arabi.

The Doha side must first negotiate the week four fixture of the Stars League at the Jassim Bin Hamad Stadium.

Ighodaro, 27, was expected to be out for four weeks after he sustained a muscle tear during the matchday1 of the QSL away to Al Sailiya.

But the Nigeria international has recovered ahead of scheduled after being named in the squad for the clash with Al Arabi on Saturday.

The Nigeria will could be in line for starting berth in the Qatari top-flight fixture

Umm Salal are seventh on the log with four points from three games.
