Former Golden Eaglets’ Victor Okeke Joins Swedish Club Elfsborg

Former Golden Eaglets midfielder Victor Ozor Okeke has signed with Swedish Allsvenskan club Elfsborg, moving from Nigeria’s Tripple 44 Football Academy.

Okeke gained recognition for his performance at the 2022 WAFU B U17 tournament, displaying his talent on the international stage.

Now, he has secured a five-year contract with Elfsborg, where he is expected to initially join the junior team before progressing to the senior squad.

Elfsborg currently sits fifth in the Swedish Allsvenskan, 13 points behind leaders Malmö FF with ten games remaining in the season.

Okeke will learn from the experience of Nigerian teammate Ibrahim Buhari, a key player for Elfsborg this season.
