If you’re wondering what the vibe means, step over to Switzerland and catch up with FC Zurich striker Steven Odey!
On Thursday Steven Odey made his Europa League debut – one he’s waited for all his life – and it turned out just fine for the Nigerian.
The former MFM FC talisman started upfront in a one-man attack during Thursday night football action and he did soo much but score despite an impressive performance.
Odey showed prowess in the air, winning more aerial balls than any other player the entire night.
He was a handful for the AEK Larnaca defenders for much of the 75 minutes he spent inside the 7,400 capacity stadium in Larnaca.
Odey went close to scoring twice but couldn’t manage to get his effort on target – one of them a header.
A day after the action, he mustered the strength to share his joy of living his European football dream.
He tweeted: I’ve been waiting all my life for this type of vibe.
Thank God for my Europa League debut and most Importantly the team’s away victory hopp fczurich????⚪️ @ Nicosia, Cyprus.
