Franck Mawuena Kwame has made a successful return to training with Remo Stars after a prolonged period on the sideline due to injury.
The forward endured a six-month layoff following surgery for an injury sustained during Remo Stars’ match against Akwa United last November, which ended in a 3-2 defeat.
The player’s comeback was announced on the team’s social media platforms, signaling his return to the squad and participation in training sessions.
Frank Mawuena, originally from Togo, had made a significant impact for Remo Stars prior to his injury, scoring two goals in seven appearances.
His return is expected to be a huge boost for Remo Stars, especially as they contend for their inaugural league title under the guidance of coach Daniel Ogunmodede.
