Nigeria will open her title defense at the 2018 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations against South Africa on November 18th at the Cape Coast Stadium.
Nigeria’s Super Falcons, who are defending champions of the competition, were drawn alongside Banyana Banyana of South Africa, Zambia’s She-polopolo and the Harambee Starlets of Kenya in Group B.
The top two teams from the group will progress to the semi-final, where they’ll face the two top teams from Group A.
Hosts Ghana, Algeria, Mali and Cameroon are in Group A and will play their group stage games in Accra.
The last three teams in the competition will progress to qualify for the 2019 FIFA Women’s World Cup in France.
